Equity and Accessibility

On matters related to employment equity, clients rely on us to help them comply with federal obligations and to develop and implement appropriate hiring programs. We also assist provincially-regulated employers that are part of the Federal Contractors Programs to ensure they meet their commitments. Employer obligations under the Ontario Pay Equity Act and Canadian Human Rights Act necessitate compliance and ongoing monitoring of workplace, legislative and technological changes. We help employers create and implement flexible policies designed to avoid problems and minimize the risk of litigation.

With the passing of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act employers now have more onerous obligations to create a workplace that is accessible to the public and its employees, suppliers and contractors. CCPartners can assist employers to comply with these new legal obligations, including the preparation of policies and practices mandated by the new legislation.
